For about a year now, a good number of HOBOs, friends of HOBO, and HOBO fiduciaries have been assembling in Green Bay for nights of utter ridiculousness. Events have varied from poker games, to BBQs, to softball leagues, all the way to a fantasy football draft last night. And, since one of HOBO's goals is to some day rule the world, various geographical chapters are necessary. So, for all who hear, the HOBO Green Bay chapter is indeed a reality. If anyone happens to saunter through Northeastern Wisconsin, a gathering is only a few phone calls away.
As a bystander I must say that I am most jealous of the GB Chapter of HOBO. I wish Milwaukee had such a strong HOBO presence, but for now I will give a hearty endorsement for the Green Bay boys. I've made a couple of trips up to get dumb with these guys and they never fail to deliver. The last time I was there, we packed in dollar beer night at the GB Blizzard game, HOBO dancing, a Showstoppa BBQ, a poker game, Trivial Pursuit, and a display of power by Big TO. The only possible downside was leaving my keys at some strange girl's house and running down the street in the same clothes i was wearing for 36 hours. Regardless, this was one of the most memorable weekends of the summer and I desire to spend more time with my brothers to the north. Invite me up!
Because really, how often to you get to use words like "inane" and "berserk" in separate, yet nearly simultaneous posts?
HOBO GB Chapter welcomes anyone willing to get dumb. We have a nice contingent of HOBOs and FOHs here that we can pretty much start getting crazy here. GMac has visited on several occasions which is epic. We try our best to show the best sites (which are always the insides of bars). Anyone willing to come down, there are many doors that will be open to you here in GB.
