With the HOBO festivities less than 3 weeks away, it is now time to start talking about the new class of hobos for 2008. Last year was a big year for HOBO with 7 new members. We like to call them the 7 of '07. Could there be eight new hobos in 2008??? You never know.

As acting director in charge of HOBO apprenticeships and mentors, or as I call it - Apprentii Master; I have a good idea of who is trying out for HOBO this year. Although, I would like to have anyone interested in becoming hobo to post a comment and let the world know.

You also need to state if you already have a HOBO mentor or if you need one provided to you. And if you want, say a few words about why you want to be a hobo.

Who will be this years Marbles?
Who will be this years Big Easy?
And who will be this years Eric Fitting?

As acting director of apprentice inductions, I have decided it is necessary to ascertain the names of those interested in a HOBO apprenticeship this year.

It is not difficult to become a HOBO. All you need to do is:

- believe in the HOBO way of life and everything we stand for

- become an apprentice to one of the 14 current HOBO members

- be present the night of HOBO inductions (12:01 am 7/4/07)

It's that easy.
